(Watch, we'll get hit by a huge snowstorm next week as a result of me posting that title.) We're not fully out of the woods until mid-March, but with temperatures in the mid-70's on Sunday and close to 80 on Monday, I'd say we're on the right track. Any cold spell we get from now until late September will be just a fluke.
I'm pretty excited about that.
In the next few weeks the azaleas, dogwoods and tulips will start blooming. We'll get a coating of obnoxious, pervasive yellow pollen at some point, but I'll get over it. If it means grilling outside, hanging out on the screened in porch, and planting flowers, I'm quite happy.
