Happy Freaking New Year

I had a painting project all lined up to show you all, but a bout of food poisoning on Sunday kept me from getting to it.  Between naps, nibbling on my 7 Saltines and sipping Gatorade, I watched the documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work.

I've loved Joan since first watching her on QVC with my mom when I was in high school.  She's crass and bold and works her ass off and she's been through a hell of a lot.  The documentary shows her most recent downturn in her career, but like always, she comes back.  Highly recommend if you need a few laughs and don't mind some a lot of foul language.
